The URL includes the version: https://pb.sonecentral.com/api/v1. Changes within this version are backward compatible: new endpoints, optional request fields, response fields and error codes. Clients should ignore unknown fields.

Removing a field or changing its meaning requires a new version such as /api/v2, announced in advance.

• Concurrent first messages with the same message identity return 409 conversation_busy for the second request, rather than creating another conversation and reply.
• Responses text parts separate messages in the same turn with two newlines.
• Conversation state and message lists include reply_pending. Keep reading delayed assistant replies after a conversation is returned to the assistant.
• Vercel AI SDK's finish metadata includes messageIds to deduplicate streamed and polled messages. The chat widget examples use them.
